Tax Accountant

In your role as Tax Accountant, you are responsible for analyzing fiscal matters and preparing, submitting and managing various VAT and Sales Tax statements and returns for Creative Clicks group and its branches and subsidiaries located in various countries. You also look after providing advice on financial and tax matters, and should have an in-depth knowledge of the regulations, laws and acts that govern this process.

  • Preparing tax reporting indirect taxes area’s (VAT, sales tax) at required intervals for several group entities and branches in different countries;
  • Regularly reviewing system settings and making updates and improvements where necessary;
  • Assist in and coordinate monthly and quarterly tax provision entries for group entities and branches providing in-depth analysis of the various book to tax differences;
  • Assist in financial and tax audits;
  • Keeping yourself and the team up to date of current developments in the tax area, provide an information source in the tax area within the group;
  • Advises Group Tax, Businesses, Markets and other (Group) Functions on VAT and Trade & Customs matters
  • Prepare and coordinate local VAT registrations in different countries
  • Monitor local VAT exposure and keep track of registration thresholds
  • Draft letters and communication with tax authorities under supervision of the CFO and Finance Director
  • Help the finance team with day to day work if needed
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role;
  • In-depth knowledge of tax (VAT and Sales Tax) and accounting processes;
  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Tax and/or Finance.;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills;
  • Knowledge and working experience in an international VAT and Customs advisory role
  • Strong English business language skills, other European languages are a benefit.
  • Well organized, good with planning multiple projects;
