Solutions Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for someone who will work as the right-hand to the head of development and grow into the role as Solutions Engineer to join our growing development team at our HQ in Amsterdam. You will work closely with the head of the development in continuous improvement of our systems and cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Research on delays and latency on our system components. Provide a log / detail on the problem and come with a PoC for possible solutions. Eventually help rolling out the solution.
- Create diagrams / flows and documentation on our architecture. This also helps solving problems on point (1).
- Keep track on the latest IT movements and updates on the Cloud (AWS). For improvements based on the six pillars of an AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Help us to gain insights in costs of our architecture / overall IT and dive into the most expensive components to find out if we can save money with a different approach or by cleaning up resources.
- Maintain and improve monitoring with AWS CloudWatch.
Requirements
- Interested in the cloud. (AWS)
- 1- 2 years’ experience with AWS is a plus.
- You have broad knowledge of multiple frameworks, libraries and/or programming languages so that you can apply and advise on them.
- You love your work and love to resolve puzzles through innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch AND English
