Release Manager

Overview
We are looking for a Release Manager who will be responsible for the creation and direction of our portals & platform development. In this role you will work with developers, operation and business team and manage internal & external resources to improve the product team's performance.

Your goal is to be the gate keeper for the best product quality and manage the expectation and requirements from the Clients.

We expect you to think both creatively and analytically. You are comfortable finding the most effective ways of building an online presence, as well using analytics to make our products better.

You will manage the planning and will have contact with different teams, developers team, portal builder team, payment team and designer team. As you understand that our operation departments are the heart of our organization, you are actively seeking for opportunities to improve our products on both a technical as a commercial level. Structure and being agile are key. You know that from experience and are an expert in applying this into this role. You will enforce organizational project management methods (Preferably scrum), processes, and templates, to collect and maintain project data and provide hands-on support. You are also responsible for managing all aspects of quality control for all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning and will have contact closely with developers’ team, and coordinate with product managers and designers (e.g. maintain live projects, meeting co-ordination, planning and deliverable overviews)
• Create and manage weekly Scrum and Release (Jira), you will be in charge of creating tasks from scratch: Get insight/requests, write epic/story, and expected result. Scrum master skills are a pre since you need to manage the whole process from Task creating to Production release
• Assist Product team: Translate tasks and requests from Product teams to Dev team, and make sure that the priority is correct
• Quality assurance & content management: ensure the right workflow is applied correctly in the various projects/boards. Ensure that quality is maintained, there is consistency across the department and all project artefacts are delivered on-time

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a release manager, Project manager, Product manager with a relevant tech background in a product or platform organization
• An education degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant field
• Collaborative skills to interact with different stakeholders and play a key role in sharing knowledge across the tech teams
• Scrum master (Jira) and Experience in Platform development is a plus. Extensive knowledge of software development processes, a passion for shipping great platform products, and a high level of curiosity to learn more
• Experience with creating software engineering tools is a big plus. Great understanding of technical flows
• Strong knowledge about task management and reporting
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
• Solution-driven mindset and analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify problems, and come up with constructive solutions
• Great planning skills, extremely organized
