We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role can be done remotely or from our office in Amsterdam.

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for efficiently and accurately managing the organization’s payroll processes. This crucial role ensures that all employees are paid accurately and on time while complying with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll processing procedures for the different offices: Amsterdam, Toronto, London and Tel Aviv and for the remote workers with Papaya and Workmotion;
  • Ensure all payroll processes adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation (for audits);
  • Continuously review and enhance payroll processes, recommending and implementing improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy;
  • Handling payment inquiries from employees and management, resolving issues promptly and providing excellent customer service;
  • Collaborating with finance department;
  • Creating salary sheets and reports;
  • Ensure that the information provided on the People Data Systems is accurate and up-to-date;
  • Be the subject matter expertise on the various People Data Systems;
  • Coordinate and process employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions as per company policies;
  • Stay informed about payroll tax regulations. Ensure accurate calculation and submission of payroll taxes, including income tax, social security contributions and other deductions.

Job requirements

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Proven experience in payroll administration or a related role;
  • Payroll Administration certification is a plus;
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations and labour laws;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Highly organised individual and a “Complete Finisher”;
  • Experience working within a fast growth working environment;
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal;
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality;
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Time management and organizational capabilities to meet strict payroll deadlines;
  • Dutch speaking is a must.
