Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager that will provide sales, marketing, media and securing new advertisers and demand partners.

Sales and Marketing Development:

  • Use prior experience and book of business to help build new and existing marketing verticals, helping educate current team about the entire vertical from backend monetization to promotional methods
  • Responsible for learning and growing upcoming offer verticals including sweeps, mobile apps, casino and gambling, leadgen and dating on own and team portfolios
  • New Sales Prospecting and partner onboarding
  • Establish and manage relationships with existing client advertisers
  • Consult with clients on their marketing needs.
  • Manage the Contract/IO process to ensure that all paperwork is properly competed
  • Manage the campaign setup process to ensure campaigns are setup quickly and accurately
  • Act as first point of contact to clients and address client needs as needed
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, gain deep insight into their business and ultimately provide solutions to their marketing and advertising goals.
  • When requested, negotiate with advertisers to improve rates and payment terms
  • Collections and invoicing reconciliation on weekly and monthly basis

Campaign Development:

  • Update campaigns with payouts, creative and contact information
  • Build and maintain an intimate knowledge of online advertising and affiliate marketing industry developments, so to spot trends and opportunities
  • Provide feedback to the company on how to best service clients' needs.
  • Communicate with the Affiliate Managers to help promote the campaigns
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service
  • Experience with online intranet systems
  • Provide reports on a weekly basis on all activity
  • Attend and participate in all sales related team meetings
  • Creative development and brand compliancy to ensure healthy ROI for Advertising clients while maintaining campaign scalability

Finance Tasks:

  • Billing clients on a weekly, semi-weekly, and monthly basis. Be able to track and record all sales, credits, and chargebacks accordingly.
  • Review and coordination of Client invoices with Finance team
  • Reconciling with the accounting / finance department on a regular basis for all accounts.
  • Following up with payments, ensuring payments come through and take appropriate action when accounts are overdue.
  • Thorough understanding of managing costs and budgets for internal and external activity

Job Requirements:

  • Min 1 yr. experience in intangible, media and internet sales products and affiliate marketing
  • Min 3 yrs. sales work experience with strong closing techniques; using logical steps
  • General affiliate marketing comprehension and strong verbal communication
  • Cost Per Action (CPA) experience
  • Organized and Efficient follow up
  • Ability to fit customer expectations by adapting to different situations with sincerity and realism
  • Good online skills and experience with CRM systems
  • Performance driven
  • Post Secondary Education
